About the Diplomate Committee

The Diplomate Committee represents the Diplomate Membership. The committee aims to represent the interests of diplomate members and, through the clinical lead, act as the conduit for matters to be raised at the quarterly Faculty Council Meetings. The clinical lead also meets the Office Bearers on a monthly basis.

The Diplomate Committee are involved in various activities to support FSEM Diplomates, such as:

• Supporting employers with advice and guidance
• Creating a network of clinicians to help with mentorship, appraisal & revalidation
• Provide support for graduates and undergraduates including further development of Integrated Training Posts (GP Training posts in MSK/SEM) and representation on courses/conferences
• Get involved in creating educational content and support
